Custom Event Prop for Dermanovo | Make Creative Spaces

At Make Creative Spaces, we designed and fabricated a custom oversized syringe prop for a Dermanovo event, creating a large-scale object that would be instantly recognizable, visually striking and suitable for use in an event environment and promotional photography.

The prop was developed entirely by Make, with close attention to proportion, detailing and the translation of a familiar medical object into a much larger physical scale. Its construction combined PLA 3D-printed components, a transparent acrylic tube, specialist coatings and custom printed graphics.

By combining different materials and fabrication techniques, we were able to reproduce the transparency, mechanical detailing and contrasting finishes of the original object while maintaining a clean and durable final result. The prop was designed to perform equally well as a physical installation and as a strong visual element in photos and video.

This project reflects the approach of Make Creative Spaces to custom props and special builds for events, exhibitions and brand activations: combining design, digital fabrication, 3D printing, acrylic processing and handcrafted finishing to create distinctive, high-impact objects.
