MAKE Creative Spaces undertook the design, fabrication and assembly of a Bulk Ship Scale Model

The Ship was designed digitally as a section in scale 1:75 . All the equipment was designed from scratch and it was fabricated with 3d printing technology. The hull was fabricated in the Cnc router and all outer parts were cut in Laser Cutter. The primary fabrication materials were plywood and plexiglass. The project was commissioned by Glafcos Marine, a technical group that provides multi – disciplinary advisory services in the marine field and it was displayed in the exhibition stand of the company in the Posidonia Expo 2018 in Athens.
